Jing An government recognizes PTC’s contribution to the city’s development
BEIJING, CHINA–March 10, 2009 – PTC (Nasdaq: PMTC), the Product Development Company®, today announced that it has been honored with the “2006-2008 Best Developing Foreign Invested Company” Award by Jing An District of Shanghai, China. The Jing An District government presented the award at a recent awards ceremony held in Shanghai. Other award winners include multinationals such as GE, KPMG, and L’Oreal.

Yang Zhijian, director of the District Foreign Economic Commission, Jing An District, Shanghai, said during her keynote speech at the ceremony that the commerce, trade, logistics and professional services industries have become the main investment targets of foreign-invested companies. These companies are continuing to develop and innovate, and have significantly contributed to the economic and social development of Jing An. Although the global financial crisis has brought major challenges, we are confident that under the leadership of Jing An Communist Party Committee and government, the district economy will continue to grow.
